Pharaoh has Fallen. Now Egypt needs real change

Hosni Mubarak, the Pharaoh of Egypt, was today thrown out of office in humiliation. Yesterday he did not announce his resignation despite being expected to do so.
Yet, by the permission of Allah (swt) the demands of the brave and perseverant Muslims of Egypt, Mubarak has gone  after 18 days of demonstrations, sacrifice and martyrdom.
Like most tyrants and dictators, he leaves office humiliated. He was abandoned by his Western masters. His cronies are no longer with him. His once strong image is now broken.
However, although Mubarak has gone, his system of taghut remains. The oppressive police state remains. Economic hardship remains.
Small changes may be made to the constitution, but the secular constitution will remain. It will be the mission of all: the United States, Britain and Europe to maintain this secular constitution and their interests.
They will back ANYONE who fulfils these aims for them – whether it is Omar Suleiman, or any other military backed autocrat – or whether it is through a democratic face after elections, and after applying pressure and offering money and assistance.
We pray that the brave Muslims of Egypt are not duped by these games; and that they continue to move towards real change.
Real change will only come when the Islamic Khilafah is established: an accountable elected government, that rules by Islam, not for the interests of a narrow elite, nor for the interest of Western colonial powers, but for looking after the affairs of all the citizens – regardless of race, religion or gender.
May Allah (swt) protect the Muslims of Egypt and Muslims elsewhere in our noble ummah, strengthen them and give them tawfeeq to realise real change.
“And Allah has full power and control over His Affairs, but most of men know not.” [TMQ Yusuf 12:21] (Ends/)
